So.
Got back from vaca and suddenly my sales at work are rockin.
This is my 8th shift since I got back and I have 8 sales to my name. In the lead and everyone else has a week on me.
Pretty Awsome.
6 12-monthers and 2 6-monthers, and that puts my commission at $70.
woohoo!
wrooong.
Commision in Utah is taxed at a 40% rate.
That means I get 48 out of that 70....
I hate that...
I better get most of it back.

Post-Philly-Depression
Turns out leaving Philly is always just as hard, no matter the duration of time spent there.
One month, two months, one week- it's all the same.
I return to Utah missing the vegetation, the coffee shop, their house, now their dogs.
Marcy and Chris.
I sit on a couch at home missing their couch.
I turn on the tv wishing it were theirs.
I jump back into my realistic routine of life completely unfocused.
Missing Chris's non-stop stupid jokes that I find funnier than anyone else.
Missing hanging out in the office talking to Marcy.
Missing it all.
It's the same every time.
Should it be this hard? or should I take this as a sign...

Marcy, Denver, and Carrie's day out
As ususal, the mosquitos here are having a hay day with me. I don't get what makes me smell so sweet. Maybe they're only attracted to people who are allergic to them. It's awful. I have probably around 25 bites from the knees down. They're all huge and freaky. Nobody else is getting attacked. Only Carrie.
People on the train to NY kept looking at me like I was a leper. That part was kinda funny.. ha.

Marcy, Denver, and I drove to Jersy and took the train from there to NY. in Jersey, (Hoboken technichally) we visited Carlo's Bake Shop. There's this show- I think it's on TNT- called "The Cake Boss". It's awsome. Nothing fancy, I just love watching them bake delicious treats. I was STOKED to go there. Best part- we actually saw Buddy- the star of the show- THE cake boss. I wanted to take a picture with him, but I was already blushing hardcore at the thought of it. When I blush, I turn purple. So I chickened out, and now have no proof, but I did see him. Best part of my day.
After making our way into NY, we went to the MET and to the Natural History Museum. There wasn't really enough time to look at everything there, or even half of everything there, but it was still cool.
Denver slept like a baby on the way to and from Jersey.
Very fun day. :]
